Chasing the Dragon, a powerful, hard-hitting documentary on opioid addiction produced by the FBI – Wednesday, 10/4, 7 PM @Darien Library. Panel to include representatives from the FBI, Silver Hill Hospital, DEA, a pharmacist and an individual currently in recovery. (October is Substance Abuse Awareness Month.)

Rebound: The Chris Herren Story – Monday, 11/30/17, 7 PM, Darien High School.  Herron, a recovering addict, is a former NBA star, author, speaker and founder of The Herren Project and Project Purple, organizations that bring awareness to the dangers of substance abuse.
