We're halfway through our Fall club registration period, and we would love to find the right group for you.

Winetasters, Gourmet, and Playgroups registration closes September 9th. Groups are coming together and spots are filling.

Whether you are new to the area or have lived here for years, there is a group that is the right fit for you. We take care of the matching (life stage, neighborhood, etc) so all you have to do is show up.

Observed every August 17, the day was created to recognize the organizations and people working every day to strengthen their communities, and commemorates the Tariff Act of 1894, which first established tax exemptions for charitable organizations—helping lay the foundation for the nonprofit sector we know today.

At YWCA Darien/Norwalk, we're proud to be part of that legacy.

Every membership. Every donation. Every volunteer hour. Every sponsorship. Every act of support helps us create meaningful connections, empower women and families, and build a stronger, more welcoming community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Please join us in welcoming Erin Scoles to the YWCA Darien/Norwalk team as our Operations & Toddler Time Manager! 💙

A Darien resident for the past seven years, Erin and her husband, Travis (her high school sweetheart) of 15 years are raising their two daughters, Georgia (10) and Charlotte (7), along with their two dogs, Baxter and Doodle.

"Our family fell in love with Darien because of its welcoming community and small-town feel. From neighborhood gatherings to town events, it's a place where you always see familiar faces, and we're so grateful to call it home."

When she's not at the YWCA, you'll likely find her cheering on the Yankees with her family.

We're thrilled to have Erin join our team and can't wait for our members, families, and Toddler Time community to get to know her. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! 👏

August is Make a Will Month, a national awareness campaign that encourages people to create or update their wills and estate plans. Estate planning is an important part of financial wellness, helping you protect your loved ones, honor your wishes, and plan for the future with confidence.

At YWCA Darien/Norwalk, our Women's Economic Empowerment helps women build confidence, clarity, and financial freedom through free workshops and cohorts designed to support every stage of their financial journey.
