Please join us in welcoming Erin Scoles to the YWCA Darien/Norwalk team as our Operations & Toddler Time Manager! 💙

A Darien resident for the past seven years, Erin and her husband, Travis (her high school sweetheart) of 15 years are raising their two daughters, Georgia (10) and Charlotte (7), along with their two dogs, Baxter and Doodle.

"Our family fell in love with Darien because of its welcoming community and small-town feel. From neighborhood gatherings to town events, it's a place where you always see familiar faces, and we're so grateful to call it home."

When she's not at the YWCA, you'll likely find her cheering on the Yankees with her family.

We're thrilled to have Erin join our team and can't wait for our members, families, and Toddler Time community to get to know her. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! 👏

August is Make a Will Month, a national awareness campaign that encourages people to create or update their wills and estate plans. Estate planning is an important part of financial wellness, helping you protect your loved ones, honor your wishes, and plan for the future with confidence.

At YWCA Darien/Norwalk, our Women's Economic Empowerment helps women build confidence, clarity, and financial freedom through free workshops and cohorts designed to support every stage of their financial journey.

We were honored to welcome Charlotte Suhler back to this year's Women of Distinction luncheon as a special guest.

An inaugural 2010 Women of Distinction honoree, former Darien Selectwoman, past president of YWCA Darien/Norwalk, and lifelong community volunteer, Charlotte has dedicated decades to public service and has helped strengthen countless organizations and causes throughout our community.

Thank you Charlotte, it was a privilege to have you with us as we celebrated another remarkable class of Women of Distinction.

Meet Sara Mirsky — the person behind the magic of

Meet Sara Mirsky — the person behind the magic of YW's clubs.

Sara is our Director of Membership and has been with the YWCA Darien/Norwalk for seven years. She's the one who coordinates our events, manages membership, and — most importantly — puts together every single Winetasters, Gourmet, and Playgroups group.

That means when you walk into your first event and it already feels like the right fit, that's Sara's doing.

"After seven years, my favorite part of the job is hearing from members who realize they've found people they truly connect with. That's what we're striving to create with every group we put together."This is what makes the YW different. It's not an algorithm. It's someone who genuinely cares about getting it right.
